Build the machinery
Pipelines, gates and release paths that run without a person holding them open. If a step needs someone to remember it, it is not finished.

Most AI work fails quietly. We build the controls that make failure visible — and the evidence that proves a thing ran.
A green light means nothing until something independent has read the artifact and agreed with it.
Every control gets broken on purpose, watched going red, then restored byte-identical. An assertion never seen to fail is not evidence.
Pass, fail, and could-not-check. A boolean forces every unknown into the reassuring answer — so we never ship one.
Agents act inside explicit authority, and the limits are mechanical: a gate, a lockfile, a structural split. A prompt rule is not a control.
What we actually do
Pipelines, gates and release paths that run without a person holding them open. If a step needs someone to remember it, it is not finished.
Readable by us is not readable by them. We check from where the request lands — off the box, unauthenticated, as the user.
Measured and inferred are kept apart, and the most useful line in any status is the one saying a thing has never actually run.
Unreadable, unparseable, or “I could not check” never resolves to pass. Silence is the one outcome we do not allow.
